Default Best place to mount dual on 97 accord?

    Just purchased a LaserPro 905 for 200$

Wheres the best place to mount dual jammer heads on a 97 accord?

I do have a license plate, it's just not pictured.

I also have a rear blocker, but I heard most people put all 3 in front?

But because i have chrome altezzas.. ops: i think i should leave one in the back, and veil them.

My black '95 Accord is the one that got several JTG's with a ZR-3 in go.mouse's videos. The ZR-3 and the 905 are very similar right? I've got the heads mounted below the bumper in the lower grill immediately to the right and left of the license plate. I'll try to get a good picture tomorrow and post it.

I put two heads up front and one head in the back thinking I didn't want to sacrifice rear laser protection. Two heads seem to be plenty up front but the rear head really doesn't seem to have any effect on laser. You may as well put all three up front, but I'd recommend against putting it on the license plate, way too exposed. One little bump and it's gone... Maybe you can fit it in the upper grill in front of the hood release mechanism?

Great, we can test your LP905 setup since you're located in WA.

yeah if theres no required front plate then go ahead and plant 1 in back, but with these 5th gens the plate is pretty low on the rear bumper so the lights might be a stretch...... either way put the 2 front heads as close to the sides of that front air dam as possible, those JDM Clear signal lights dont help you up front either

Here are the pics I promised.

Look close and you can see the jammer head right next to the plate.

Here's a closer shot of the passenger side head.

Even with the heads tucked behind the plate a bit I get solid performance, as evidenced in the Team JTG video.

I had the jammer installed at Car Toys 4.5 years ago. If I was doing it today, I'd put the heads one grill slot closer to the headlights and I'd do it myself. Good luck!

That's where I installed my jammer. All 3 heads in the front.

By the way, are the jammer heads suppose to be curved out a bit with the bumper? Or should it be perpendicular with the vehicle?

I think you're spot on on the two front heads. I'd reposition the one on the license plate though. Do you ever parallel park? If some senior citizen or other dumb driver backs up too far and taps the front of your parked car, you'll come back and find your valuable laser head shattered all over the road. Will it fit in the grill above the license plate and in front of or just to either side of the hood release mechanism?

If the little tabs that allow it to be screwed the plate are in the way, be aware that there are screws on the back of the head that you can remove to remove those little tabs.

    ^ Good point.

Looking at the picture, though, it seems that his front-plate mount itself could be modified to support the ZR3's rear head, and allow it to mount flush (slightly behind, so as to be protected) with the bumper surface.

That would be my suggestion for a protected mount.
