I have been waiting for one of the jammer products to make the advancement into the area of speed sensitive jamming. What I mean is the jammer knows how fast your travelling and only fires during an encounter when your speed exceeds a set speed you input into the jammer. This would make the discussion of setting a timer on the jammer a non-starter. Why fire for every encounter if your already driving within the the set safe speed?
With all the tie-ins to GPS for red light and speed cameras it could just as easily provide you a speed your traveling so that the jammer knows what to do based on what you told it. If we really got advanced we could upload the posted speed limits into the database for download into the unit so the jammer knows what the PSL is for the road your on. Thoughts?
Same idea could be used for our RD's as well. If your already driving within a safe speed then just alert info alarms, but if your driving outside of the PSL then really tell me about the alarm.
