    Default protecting full size pickup

I have a full size pickup with chrome bug guards over the grille.. is it even worth it to install an zr3 laser shifter from escort? i would have to put all 3 of the sensors on the front down near the license plate, because i doubt it would go thru the bug guards.... any help here plz.

the pickup has a large flat front though, and its chrome so it would be a huge area to hit. and the zr3 would be mounted almost at the bottom of it. because there is no place up farther. so i dont know what to do

That or possibly wait for the Lidatek systems to come on radarbusters. Their output is much higher than Blinder's, so it might be more effective on a large vehicle.

Well lets look at this. One option to getting rid of the chrome if you wouldnt mind would be to get some sort of leather bug shield. Like a car bra...

Next, I would recommend grabbing a can of VEIL and make sure you knock out those massive headlights. Really those are your biggest enemy with a jammer for long range punch through 1000 feet plus.

I think this is something we need to test. Where are you located? I know I plan on doing another jammer test this fall in DE, and the guys up in Ohio are planning a huge one on July 16th.

If you are close to use maybe we could outfit the truck with a blinder m-20 or perhaps the guys in ohio could let you use a Lidatek. It wouldnt hurt to buy the unit we can test it out if you get poor results just send it in and get your money back.

I think if you can knock out the chrome with a carbra, VEIL up the lights then a M-20 could probably do the job for you. But it may take a M-40 on something large like your truck.

I know Happy has a M-40 on his wife's SUV and they had good results with that.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you wanna do.
