Im going to put a LPP on it so What you think I should get for my new Limited Edition Sti Tuned Rex??
Im thinking 1 head will be heaps as it is all black except the headlights. I reckon a single head right under the middle subaru badge.

Wait for the Laser Interceptor to go through testing of its production units.
According to the running thread here, they're pushing through the US-LLC paperwork right now, but all other needs have already been met for production.
I'd think that this would be worth the wait.

You're getting an S204, imported? or are you getting the '07 STI-Limited?
nah not really interested, I have a single LPP and am debating to buy a dual head...but im thinking it will be ok with 1.
When ya car does 0-100km/h in 3 seconds I need a good jammer 387KW in a 1350kg car is mania ..lol
If it were me, I'd still go with 2. I'd put one in each upper corner of that black area closest you can to the headlights.
Are you required to have a front license plate?
yes front plate is on.
^ Ah, then I take it that yours will be a true S204 - I got somewhat confused with your location description in your profile...it said "WA," but I'd imagine that to be a country designator, instead of state. Speaking of which, what country are you located in ---> this has pertinence, please see below.....Originally Posted by specialchicken
I think that you should be OK with one, but exactly how much protection you'll see will depend very much on the unique enforcement circumstance that you're faced with.
First and foremost, with your current LPP unit, you may want to get the 100 PPS UL concern addressed (if it hasn't already), if your country sees use of this device.
Second, the Impreza WRX, even in this iteration, presents some rather severe hard-points which can cause rather disappointing PTs, even with a top-flight jammer.
If your locals favor practicing short-range engagements and/or utilize hardware for which the LPP does not protect as well against, you may want to consider stepping up to a dual-head setup.
Your front plate is both a liability as well as an asset. With the LPP directly overtop, it serves well as "bait" for your local enforcers to shoot - this LPP position, of course, also has the advantage of being centrally located, which can best-protect your center-mass (another favorite laser enforcement target). The liability, of course, is that it is a hugely "retroflective" target - this in and of itself may aid in shorter-range PTs. Adding a secondary jammer (or jammer head) may give you some additional protection in this sense.
Dual head LPP, but try to get the upgraded control box.
yeah 8.3 is my vers of LPP, Ill whack it on this weekend and see how it goes as my mate has a Ultralyte, they dont use the 100pps here as faras i know.
Thanks for the info guys
You definately want to find out if they use UL100pps in your area and if your box has the Ul100pps fix. In the recent GOL testing, the LPP got pwned pretty bad by the that gun......Originally Posted by specialchicken
