First here is my car - a 97 Maxima (beige)
Currently Veil is on and light output + cut-off line went down the drain (projector HID).
So with my car, a Dual AL8 is more than enough without Veil? Because I really want to take the Veil off.

i don't think so...only if you run into the stalker lz1 alot
Spoiler: show
So why isnt his DUAL AL setup not sufficient??
It can not hurt. The more protection the better

charles charlie charles - Yes, a dual AL setup *should* be sufficient, but even the best protection does not make you invulnerable.
Placement/setup of the jammer heads is definitely one concern, but so is the specific encounter circumstances.
Versus different hardware, our jammers all have different strengths and weaknesses.
Furthermore, depending on the encounter circumstances, only having active jamming may not be sufficient. For example, what if the enforcer was doing an "overhead" shot from an overpass, and your vehicle happened to, due to a road dip, be in a slightly nose-down position - causing your jammers to point more towards the roadway than "optimal?"
I realize that I have only tested one gun against my AL G8 setup, but I have a hard time believing that on a car with a dual head setup that you need anything else. I tested this jammer against my car and then my brothers truck. I couldn't get a reading off of his roofline or any other place for that matter. Please read the thread and look at the pictures. His truck is massive and highly reflective.

I'd say you are sade either way. I can only speak for LTI guns though. Laser Atlanta might be a bit different.
I'll still use Veil myself just to get the extra edge, however, on your Maxima I'd say you are safe
Yes, definately with regular passaenger cars. I get JTG or no more than 50ft punch through with every laser gun used in the USA with my dual head AL. I don't blame you for wanting to take Veil off your car because in my opinion Veil makes cars look UGLY.Originally Posted by tvbi
It is, you will JTG against stalker with dual AL or dual LPP.Originally Posted by charles charlie charles
Here is proof, check out the Stalker LZ1 results against the huge white Jeep commander at the last GOL test. In this test dual heads were used for AL and LPP jammers. JTG each run, how would applying Veil help your JTG???????????????????? Easy answer to that question, it won't. And the fact that this guy is using a regular passenger car is much easier on the jammer than that huge Jeep. Veil is good for people with WEAK laser jammers.

You see I like the tinted look that Veil gives my headlights.Originally Posted by stealthJamal
