Default Deep in thought... Idea to test jammer effectiveness

I was thinking. Remember the old blinder m-06HP? They were "constant-transmit" would burn out really fast. But you could test them with a digital camera. I was thinking. What if I was to find an officer shooting laser, and have someone take their camcorder w/nightshot (placed behind the officer), and me drive my car at the laser with the jammers on. Would we see the jammers transmit? And also, if i was to film it in the cockpit, would we see the emissions from the laser gun on camera?
    Andrew

My idea came from the jammertests.com video that showed how RMR products have no effect on laser.

He wants to see the old blinder because he doesn't have a laser gun to set off the blinder m20's. If you really want to see your laser jammer go off then buy a cheapy laser range finder.

Yes, correct. I also wanted to maybe do a split screen video both in IR mode that shows the laser gun and the blinders at the same time.

    Actually..

It depends very much on the camera which ones will show IR and which will not.

Try shooting a tv remote at various cameras. You'll easily discover which will and will not show IR even without being in Night Shot ot whatever.

Shooting a remote control at a webcam will result in a blue dot visable on the screen.
