Default Laser Jammer worth it in CA???

I live in CA and the CHP uses only Ka, and the bike cops around town use PL3. It would make sense to get Laser Interceptor. But its kinda a gamble because laser jammers are illegal in CA, but the PL3 doesn't display an error message. What do you guys think..

Im not going to use veil, it sounds like a total waste

I think if you use a stealthy install with an accessible kill switch and a extra loud speaker so you can hear alerts you should be fine. Be sure to stay on top of it though. if you get a hit get down or close the psl and shut if off.

I also think it will help fooling the competition if you drive a small car as well.

me against a PL3. This leo never knew he got jammed.

Yes, get one and install a kill switch. Get an Lpp, antilaser, or wair for the laser interceptor. You can use a Cheetah kit to make things easier. I'm still waiting for the laser interceptor.

The fine is minimal (such as 100 bucks or so) and no points on the license.

    Speeding tickets are much worse.

What are the odds of being caught. Do you think cops actually know what a laser jammer is? They dont even know the difference between radar and lidar hahahah.

    Go for it buddy!

In that case which one would you recomend I get???

They use PL3 around here so from what ive seen on GOL that is really easy to jam. I don't need to spend a ton of money... Like 300???

    You drive somehing like this?

At least the front end isn't as "tall" as most other SUVs, but the upright headlights worry me. For 300, you migh be able to get some M20 Blinders, but I don't think they would provide adequet protection.

For a bigger vehical (not a sports car) and/or a lighter colored vehical (not blue or black colored) then you will most likly need a Laser Interceptor, or it will not add up to much. Laser jammers work, but not well enough to protect from all types of vehicals unfortunitly and even then it might not correctly work if an officer decides to shoot you at a close range.

Another issue is if an officer decides to shoot the back of the vehical. I've never seen it happened, but that would really suck.

With headlights like that, I WOULD use Veil.

yes, rear shots do happen and are actually quite common in some areas. Luckily for us, most CA members "seem" to indicate it doesn't happen here.

I am starting to think I should grab a jammer or Veil as those bike cops are rolling around with Laser all over the place here in Beverly Hills and Hollywood! What should I throw on my fx35?
