I'd go for center-mass, directly under the Acura badge, as "flush" to the bumper "point" or license-plate plane as you can (or are willing to) get.
It won't be great for concealment, but it should be pretty good in terms of performance.
Hmm, this is a toughy. If it was only about performance, I would bend the bracket in the shape of an L, then stick the long part behind the plate, so the head is right above the plate, sticking out (yellow). Of course, that might be a little too conspicuous.
If you had two heads, it would be easy. Just go with the read squares (well, maybe a little more spaced out.)
There's always the the green route, but that leaves your hood and light open.
Choose one of the red spots (passenger side, maybe) and go from there. The main target seems to be the plate, and the head will cover it nicely.
That was, essentially, my "temporary" single-head setup :arrow:Originally Posted by ELVATO
As you can see below, I cut a slot into the recessed "lip" of my bumper skin, where it meets and secures to the upper grill via friction. This allowed the bracket to be held in a completely secure manner.
It's very obvious and totally NOT pretty, but it got the job done.
Yea, if he didn't mind it, I think that would provide the best performance.
I guess the best place would be below the Acura badge, but theres no space in there, unless I cut a slot...
TSi+WRX what did you use to cut that slot? I'm thinking about cutting it through the grill, right below the badge. Also, have you ever worried about getting your parking sensor stolen?
Can it fit above the badge? It doesnt look like there is nearly enough room below it for anything. Can the badge be relocated upwards?
I used - very carefully - a Dremel, since the "lip" which secures my grill to that area is very shallow.Originally Posted by speed-demon

Of course, but unfortunately, it's a pay-to-play game. Leaving it out *way* in the open like that, I was distinctly rather uncomfortable.....
Has anyone had their heads stolen? If I saw your stacked car, though, I would be tempted.Originally Posted by TSi+WRX
