I realize not everybody has every model of LIDAR gun in their closet, but I look forward to seeing some more testing of the M25/45 against each LIDAR gun to figure out the strengths of the current Blinder platform.

Awesome test and video. Hopefully I will be able to join you for the next test in the next couple of months.
thrash,
Our next test will hopefully include the Ultralyte LR and laser Atlanta. If anyone wants to donate to us their Ultralyte LR for our next test, that would be wonderful. Until then I'm trying to find another Ultralyte. I hope this next test more people will come out. I have left my info for anyone interested to contact me. I hope this video helps newcomers to this website who are new to the laser jammer market.
Peace

What's the difference between the M25 and M45?
KinetiK,
The Blinder M25 has two heads which we recommend for a midsized car. The Blinder M45 is a four head unit which I recommend putting all 4 heads in the front of a large SUV or say Dodge RAM pickup. Some people may disagree with just putting all 4 heads in the front, but in my experience most police shoot at the front of your vehicle, versus the back. Then again I've seen people put 3 heads in the front and one head in the rear. All you need for a car is two heads. But if you feel the need to put 4 heads on the front of your car, then really the more protection the better.

Very nice!!
I'm most impressed by the quality of the video (although it seems you need some sort of noise-canceling mike, stegall1000, for your "roadside" presentations!), as well as am impressed by the M35 setup on your white Accord and the M25's performance on the red Mercedes two-door.
I do have some residual concern, though, over certain rather puzzling observations regarding various vehicles targeted - and either seeming lack of LIDAR return (i.e. that black Mitsubishi [Diamante?] sedan) or significantly delayed lock. I left my notes on this elsewhere, but I hope to return tomorrow to further discuss.
Nicely done!
TSi+WRX,
Hey I tried to lock onto the black Mitsubishi and could not get a true target lock. The gun has been calibrated and I ran it through two test modes to make sure all was working correctly. I saw one person in the car smiling. So I'm thinking he had some type of jamming device. I did get him a 62 mph at the head light. But it was up close. It was very odd. Maybe the word got around we were testing on hwy 441. :0
:?
I cannot wait to see the Ultralyte test. Blinder is priced pretty well and if it can perform against this gun, I probably will get it.Originally Posted by steagall1000
steagall1000, Can one purchase additional heads for his/her blinder setup? Also, are they upgradeable in the case a new gun hits the market? I am very tempted to buy an M25, and then maybe add two more heads in the back later.
Ovencleaner,
Yes you can get additional heads from Leon or me for $100.00. I put One additional head down the center of my honda accord. As you can see from the video it did well. As for upgrades it would be in the interface box itself. Each LED has its own revision number. All we do is match the LED sensor to the upgraded interface and your good to go. <REMOVED>
Damnnnnnn that is cheap! :shock:Originally Posted by steagall1000
