    Default Ideal Laser Jammer?

Ideally a Laser Jammer should be able to firstly give an alert, than block it without giving an E code even for a few millisecs to the Leo which can alarm him, than block or make the returning beam to the Lazar gun fuzzy, giving a max time as is possible to slow down the speed & deactivate itself automatically.

I saw a utube video regarding one of the jammers it gave an E code…….that’s even worse than a ticket..........ticket plus confiscation of a jammer.

    My personal thoughts………

    Does Escort & ZR3 work like this………or LP /LI?

Hoping to hear your experienced views.

    Regards!

The ZR3, LPP and LI show jam codes on the Stalker LZ-1 and the Laser Atlanta. It also did not detect the Laser Atlanta running in stealth mode.

Guys of Lidar tested them. Please note that the LI tests shown here were with a -prototype- version of the LI. The prototype LI had 2 laser diodes. The retail LI has a single laser diode.

LI has updated their software to not show jam codes on the newer (>2004) Stalker LZ-1s and reduce the number of jam codes on the older model.

I suggest waiting for the first ZR4 reviews before making your jammer choice if you can. We have no idea what the ZR4 can do, but Escort is known for their intensive research.

i'm pretty sure the guns give error codes all the time with or without a jammer. i wouldn't worry about it to much.

This is true especially for the Laser Atlanta. It likes to give jam codes off everything.

It is supposed to be released sometime next month. I believe MEM-TEK would know more. Some of our members here are on the waiting list for 9500ci Escort units (which include ZR4s).

9500CI. They're $1,600, but they do come with the ZR4s 'free,' yes.

None of the jammers here will show jam codes on Ultralyte guns. That would be: Blinder M20s/M25s, ZR3s, ZR4s, LI, LPP and AL G8.

That guy was probably running something terrible.
