whilst i had a spare moment yesterday night my mind drifted on to jammers and how you get them fitted level and horizontal to the road surface. first off i understand the laser gun pulses out and detects what time the pulse arrive back at the gun, yes? so would that still jam if it wasnt dead level with the jammer? i see the general idea in that if there pointing towards the side of the road too much then theres going to be a blind spot were the jammer could hit you but still with the laser spread suely the jammer would pick up the laser and do its bets to return a jam. now would the jam just be less effective if it wasnt spot on level and straight and how much off leveld and straightened would it need to be before you would notice a decrese in perfromance? few degrees or way way out?
would it make a difference if you got hit by a cop on a bridge that you were passing under, they like to do that over here. would it still give as good performance if the cop was at the side of the raod or would it need to be pointing directly at the gun before it could jam it.
all sounds a bit complecated and im starting to confuse myself here but hopefully you guys can put me right.
