What tyye of car do you have? Make, model, and color?
^That information helps alot when telling you what jammer is best for you.
I suggest you wait maybe a month at least because there is alot of testing going on right now
Spoiler: show
You should broaden your options to include diode jammers such as the Cheetah PASS. M25 and ZR4 are both LED, they are cheaper but not as effective.
The PASS and ZR4 are both new and untested. Some independent testing and reviews should start coming in very soon (there are some videos of testing on the ZR4 that just showed up a few days ago in the video review section). I am also looking at laser jammers, but I will not buy anything until I see some conclusive tests on the new crop and/or the next GOL laser test (which is soon but no one knows exactly when).
This is not entirelty true. Just check the board the ZR4 sucks butt against the stalker.Originally Posted by DougiesGoinDeep
As for the PASS system I guarantee you Don (Racer-X) has tested it more times than anyone else that has a jammer out there. You won't find a guy who will be more honest than Don. I am in the process of getting the funds together to get one....just taking to damn long....
As others have said, wait up a bit. I know there are going to be a couple tests this weekend by both us down here as well as another group up in CT.
As for the ZR4 vs. Stalker, I'd wait for longer range testing. Maybe it does excellent against the Ultralyte and PLIII, and does better at 500+ ft. Who knows. My PASS should be coming in today, so hopefully I can get that up and ready if it comes in early enough, so there may be video coming soon.

This is one of those things that needs A LOT more comprehensive testing to reach a conclusion. The suggestion to wait a bit for test results is a good one.Originally Posted by Rottman

i drive my parents car, its a mercedes s500(sedan) and it has a silver metalic color.
i dont mind waiting a mnth for the testing,as long as i know i will get a good device.

are diode jammers better? and how much more expensive are they?
rottman;
is there link for the pass system? somewhere i can read more about it? and how much is it??lol sounds expensive..

yeah i dont mind waiting a mnth, as long as its not too much more then that, i drive alot now and i like to speed.lol

i guess i will have to wait a bit for a the reviews.
-definitely wait a month if you can
-diode jammers are better. laser pro park (LPP), antilaser (AL), cheetah PASS, and laser interceptor (LI) are all diode. blinder and escort are LED. look around the laser jammer forum and do some searches for more info on each. Most people would agree that LI is the best performance wise, but s you can probably tell from nearly every thread on it, the customer service is a huge issue. That may or may not change in the future, its too early to tell. But a lot of people including myself are strongly considering the PASS, which is expected to have great performance and CS.
-the zr4 costs 450 for 3 heads (2 front 1 back) vs 700-1500 for a diode jammer (depnds on how many heads you get [need more for a bigger car, etc] and which one you get). the other exciting thing about the PASS is that the price is much more reasonable for a diode jammer compared to the others.
-if you do still go the LED route, consider Veil, check out the veil forum for more info, and laser shield.
If you are serious about protecting yourself, spending the extra $200-$300 is worth it IMHO.Originally Posted by DougiesGoinDeep
As for who makes the best jammer, that remains to be seen. There are only a few that are "good".
Speeding tickets are cheap when you compare it to how much your insurance will go up if you get a ticket, or multiple tickets. All of a sudden spending $600-$800 is worth it, especially after the first time you pass a LEO who would have otherwise bagged you
Two saves is all you really need from any of these jammers and then they have paid for themselves. Especially in a state where 21 miles over the speed limit is considered "reckless driving" and is a misdemeanor. Then you need a lawyer etc.
You could be on a streatch of road that is straight as an arrow and has a 35MPH speed limit. If you get caught going 56 (not very fast) you are in big trouble. If you live in Connecticut and you exceed the speed limit on a regular basis, you almost need a jammer. It better be a decent one as well :!:
