will any head work with any interface?

just out of curiosity - say i had a blinder interface and 2 heads up front and i was offered a LI, LPP or any other make of head on the cheap could i then mount these in the same interface without decrease in performance?? obviosly they would have to have the same type of plug on them - i dont know if the telephone type plugs are standared on all heads and interfaces??

I honestly would doubt that until I personally see that there is no difference in the performance of one jammer

The PASS heads will work in an LPP box, and an LPP head will work in a PASS box, as far as I've seen. In the rear of the Expy right now, I have a PASS head and an LPP head connected to my pre-100-pps-fix LPP box. Seems to work decently.

From what we saw, the LPP head seemed to perform better than a PASS head in the same spot against the Stalker, in the rear of the Expy. This was with the PASS unit I sent back, though. We haven't tested the difference between my LPP head and the new PASS system I got.

and ZR3/ZR4 heads are supposedly interchangeable from their respective units. I think the main thing that matters is how much voltage needs to be provided to the head, is the head powered by it's self or a control box, and how the wires interface with the box(i.e. on the ZR3s, it's a 4-wire system, power is provided on 1 pair, and a signal is sent to the control box on the other pair -- if it's in reverse on another unit or uses a different voltage you might end up frying the head all together plugging it into an unknown control box/power source)

It most likely is, I just haven't personally tested/seen it, that's why I didn't mention it.
