    Default Laser Testing Methods

I think this is important and and wanted opinions so I made a seperate thread.

Another thing which I think is important, I know when people in general test center mass shots then headlight shots seperately. I think there should be combo shots where you target a CM shot then if no PT's you should pan off at the same time and go for a headlight shot to see real world performance. I think in the real world cops might pan off thinking something is wrong.

That type of panning off is where LED jammers have the most problems esp with the Stalker.

what im hoping for, is in real world situations the leo would hit the tag first, and my led based jammer would give me time to hit the brakes, to get within psl. and by the time he hit's the headlights/windshield, I would be within the psl... as long as my z4 could just buy me a few seconds, I should be allright... esp when my g4 comes in...
but I think your right, I believe in testing they should pan the gun also, because that is what I believe atleast 90% of the leo's would do.

    I see what you're saying.

We kinnda did that but it wasn't anything scientific. It was more of an all over type thing. We all did some sort of ambush type thing where we hit Z1's headlights with the Stalker, and he tried to brake down to PSL before I got a reading. Granted we hit him at around 300 feet, so that made it a little difficult for the jammer, but he was about to shave off a good 10 mph before we got him.

Maybe we could try it at our next meet. We probably wouldn't need to do it with anything that comes close to jamming to gun, so that should cut down on the amount of runs needed.

Guys, I respect and appreicate everyones testing, so please do not take this post as a critcism in anyway.

Elvato, I came to this thinking when cbr got his Zr4 and when you guys went to do pre testing against the stalker that night you guys did just that, when you hit center mass then panned away and got PT's. That is what I think a cop might do.

I understand what gto said and I agree that at least you will get the alert and slow down away, but at least we will know what jammers will jam with pan away shots this is vital to know which jammer is the top dog in the real world.
