    Default Laser Interceptor or LPP

I just would like to say that this board is really quite confusing now. I've been roaming these forums for ages, and has been a great source of info for RD. I have a STI driver in Ontario and i've lost count of the number of saves.

I am going back to NY for the 2nd time in a month...and feel it's now time to invest in a laser jammer, but there's so much controversy about what to buy because of problems...

So, I think i've got this one down.

I can either buy a LI or a LPP as far as quality goes. But LI seems pretty bad for support now...and i've not heard much more about the LPP.

What do I buy?...sigh, and how do I buy it...?

The LI support problem has been fixed. Cliff took over a few months ago and he is awesome, completely turned everything around on the support department. The cost of the unit is worth his service not to mention the best performance money can buy. The choice is pretty clear. Here are the results from a test we just ran no LPP but 3 LI, newest escort zr4, and newest blinder j15. Atlanta Jammerfest 2008

can't go wrong with either in my opinion.

LI support is no longer bad with Cliff as the USA rep, so i wouldn't worry about LI support with Cliff at the helm

LPPs, in Canada, with go.mouse's support (KMPH-Canada/LPP-Canada).

    - or -

    LIs, through Cliff (C55)/LI-North America.

You really cannot go wrong with either, in terms of customer-support.

    Toss a coin.

    Honestly, they're both "that good."

What recent threads have you been reading that indicate LI's support is bad? I find quite the opposite unless you are on forums that I am not. Cliff (the LI US rep) posts every day - sometimes it seems like every hour. Go.mouse (the Canadian LPP rep) has not posted since May (maybe LPP has their own forum?)

In fact I haven't seen one thread here about LPP with respect to re-programing/ updating their boxes to address the new TruSpeed gun whereas for LI the fix seems ot be in the works.

Based on enthusiast testing the LI does better than the LPP which reconfirms the GOL tests (which were done with an LI prototype having two transmitting heads)

There is no doubt Cliff has shown to be nothing less than outstanding (my personal experience, and others).

However, the LPP CS has been proven over years. LI over months. The fact that LI had bad CS before Cliff also makes me worried that maybe only Cliff is committed to the CS, not LI Croatia.

    Hey guys,

Sorry for being unclear - I was roaming about when LI was launched and Elvis was around...if you know what I mean.

How do I get in touch with the rep from LI? How much are we talking about?

I'm in Canada...does that matter? Love the forums, thanks again guys!

My suggestion is for any doubters to simply email cliff and let him know your concerns. He keeps it real and will be straight with you.
