Laser Shield and Veil

I only have laser shield and Veil

How do I know they are actually working?

Should a cop laser me twice since I am hoping he didnt get me the first time?

When I just had the laser shield, the cop lasered me once and that was it, did he get a reading already?... say from my headlights?

Now I actually want to see a cop laser me to check if my countermeasures work.

You should see one of two things. If the cop thinks there is something wrong with the LIDAR gun he may stop, take a look at it, and then hit you again. I would imagine that a more experienced operator might be inclined to shoot continuously until he gets a reading. If you look at videos by Outrun, Staton, et. al. the latter situation seems to happen the most.
