Default Black '05 Corvette - Any Suggestions on the best Jammer

    All,

I am sure this has been asked before but a search did not turn up exactly what I am looking for.

I just reviewed the latest finding by GUYS of LIDAR and am unclear on the effectiveness of lazer jamming technology. But then I see references to Black cars being more invisible and better candidates for jamming technology. Are there any suggestions on the best product to purchase to protect this type of vehicle?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

My opinion after being at the GOL testing:

Best jammer if you have to buy now: Escort Shifter ZR3

Best jammer if you can wait for the retail version(assuming the retail version performs the same as prototype): Anti-Laser AL6

Yeah what stealthjamal said. If I was you, I would wait to get a jammer, unless you live in an area where laser is a MAJOR threat like Ohio...

A black vette is probably one of the most difficult vehicles to target with laser.

A black vette is probably one of the most difficult vehicles to target with laser. You probably have to be within 500 feet or so.
Thanks guys! I live in Illinios and I am seeing handheld Lazer guns everywhere! As for waiting, what product should I be waiting for? I am a newbee to this forum so please excuse the basic Q's.

Also, for radar detectors, what is the recommended brand these days? I have been a Escort user for years.

I'd wait for either the AntiLaser gen 6 come out or the New Blinder comes available.

For radar detectors I would recommend the Escort X50, BEL RX65, or Valentine 1.

    Spoiler: show

    Radar Detectors-V1 & BEL v995
    Laser Jammer-Laser Interceptor Quad
    GPS Camera Locator-Cheetah C100
    GPS Nav-Garmin nuvi w/Trapster
    CB Radio-Galaxy DX-949 w/Wilson 500
    Scanner-RS Pro-96

The first Antilasers were supposed to be available sometime in September. But they needed to fix the jamming of the Ultralyte LR first.

Naperville and IL St Police seem to both have the handheld guns.
