Default ZR3 or Single Head LPP

    Hey guys,

Just wondering your opinion on this. Looking for a budget jammer set-up for my Audi A4. I can get a good deal on a used single head LPP for about the same price as a Escort ZR3 new.

The laser guns in my area are almost entirely PL III's but there are a few LTI Ultralytes as well in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. MSP uses PL III and my town uses PL III as well.

Which would work better for my car?

    Here is a pic:

BTW I am switching the grille to non-chrome black slatted grille, and I have 3M'd my plate since this pic was taken.

    What do you guys think?

If you are one a budget why not get a 4 head Laser Mask for $380 that will offer plenty of protection

LPP I wouldn't buy until they have a retail jammer that jams the LTi TruSpeed

    +1.

It's currently Beta only, and we still have yet to have verification if that's the US/NA-variant or the European variant that's been successfully jammed....

I'll only start recommending LPPs again, once they've got this one in the hands of us - the consumers - and that independent hobbyists have demonstrated that the fix truly applies for the NA/US-TruSpeed.

I'd go with cVr's recommendation - or to get hooked up with Blinder-Guy for some smoking-hot M25 J16 deals, which, when combined with VEIL, should give you real-world ticket-saving performance.

Out of the 2, I'd say ZR3, just because it would be able to cover more real estate, assuming you run all 3 heads up front. The only problem I see is that the front ZR3 heads probably won't fit in your front grille w/o some cutting. The ZR3, I'd obviously put over the front plate.

^ And if limited to just those two choices, I'd agree with ELVATO.

Well the LPP I would be buying is used so I realize it wouldn't have the Tru Speed fix.

Jammers are illegal in MN so does anyone forsee any problems with using the ZR3? (Especially if I put it over the front plate

Do they use TruSpeeds in MN yet? The LPP is a parking sensor so you've got demonstratable deniability.

Don't believe they do, not as far as I've heard.

Ya that is a plus to the LPP for sure.
