Default Update: Got the Single Head LPP (Placement advice)

So I got the single head LPP, for a really good price.

Going to be installing on Tuesday or Wednesday so I need some placement advice. I'm planning on getting it tested sometime in the coming months so I'll probably move it if the first location doesn't work out.

Here is the pic of my car again:

Option A: Below the license plate, this would probably provide good center mass protection but be very vulnerable to headlight shots.

Option B: On either side of the license plate. Obviously it would be biased to one side, and PT's galore on the other.

Option C: I've seen people mount jammers like the LPP in the spaces in the outer rings of the Audi symbol. This would require some fabrication and I wouldn't be able to move it elsewhere if it turned out to be a bad spot.

Let me know what you think about these spots and if you have any other ideas! Also I realize that this is not going to be that amazing of protection, but I'm not that big a of speeder and I'm going up mostly against PLIII's so it should be good enough.

    TIA!

For my C5 A6 I actually bought a badgeless grille, cut it an put a single antilaser head there in the center - fit pretty well. Do you have the chrome grille? If so the blackout badgeless would help your single head. Badgeless Grill was like 40 bucks on Ebay. That was a few years ago.

Cyberblob had a similar install but he put it in the center of one of his rings I believe.

Perhaps you can save up for another head and put them on each side of your plate, when your budget permits (or look for one on Ebay).

Your close it was serg's car, I was helping him test his setup.
It works well in the grill if you can get it that high.
He no longer owns his Audi.

I no longer have that grille, I am actually installing an S4 grille.

So off-center in the grille looks like it would be the best huh?

With only one head I would try and get it a close to center in the grill as possible. I personally would get a second head for the front.

Are you running a front plate? If so, I'd take the plate off, or get another head.

Ya no worries. I'm aware of that, and its part of the reason I got an LPP.

I've got some huge holes in my bumper that I need to fill in if I take off the plate

LOL! You know jammers are illegal, so that's why you bought a jammer? That makes no sense at all. What's next, crack cocaine?
