With another forum member Asleeper, we did some testing on my LI dual and M25 J16 v2 with TS fix today. Sorry, no video.
Note: I've installed blinders right next to my plates angled slight out for off axis shots. It is not completely straight but it is perfectly leveled. Also, I didn't space them properly. It is placed right next to my plates for maximum CM protection. I will be adjusting the placement in few days though.
LIDAR Gun used - UL200LR
Test course - Straight away 1150' run
Weather - Clear and Sunny
Car - MB SL500
Runs - 8
JTG in all possible aim points. Asleeper practically tried to find any weak shot for possible PT but he couldn't.
M25 J16 v2 TS Fix:
CM - JTG
Passenger Headlights - JTG
Driver Headlights - PT at 400'
Here's something intereting:
LI + M25 on together:
CM - JTG
Passenger Headlight - JTG
Driver side Headlight - PT at 275'
Because PT was little puzzling with both systems running, we did two extra runs. With the LI only again, it was JTG all the way but with the Blinder and LI together, got another PT 250'. Can this be a crosstalk issue?
Overall, I had no doubts on my installation of the LI and it's perfromance but I was very pleased with the performance of the new Blinder as well. We figure if the blinders were aligned properly and placed in the grill area it's coverage area will be more adequate opposed to where the Blinders are currently placed (under the bumper next to the plates). I believe Blinders will also provide JTG if it's placed and aligned properly. Keep in mind that results could be different on your cars. My car has very low profile and dark colored.
Wish we could of had PLIII gun to test since our county is PLIII heavy. But, from what I heard from other forum members that Blinders and LI eat up PLIII so I'm not that worried about going up against PLIII since both of the jammers did well against UL 20/20.
Now I can drive with more assurance since it's been tested.
Thanks to ASleeper for taking time to test my setups.
