Default ZR3 failure probably self inflicted

    http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...-thru-zr3.html

This morning Speed-Dreams and I finally got together to re-enact the punch thru failure my ZR3 had with the PL3 last month. Note: We got together last week to re-enact this configuration with just1ns TruSpeed which showed some problems jamming "ambush" style shots (500 ft and under) but even these problems were uneven and difficult to reproduce every time. Also we were using the TruSpeed not the PL3 the current holder of the not-so-prestigous Easist Laser Gun To Jam World title.

We had clear sunny weather and shot the Sheila from only 500 ft and under. The results were complete JTG every time. Even my short shot while Speed drove my car was at 300 ft and it blanked the gun. We also had pretty steady shots on the targets. I was getting .25 second speed locks on every other car at 500 ft but Sheila performed flawlessly.

So it appears TrooperX assesment was right. The jammer was turned off before I fully corrected my speed. The PL3 is still the ZR3s ***** as long as the operator lets it do it's job.

Note: Speed-Dreams PL3 is in emaculent condition, put up quick locks and even got me a 1300 ft lock on an Infiniti G35. In spite of it's susceptibility to jamming I can see why it's such a popular gun. It's point and click useability is far better than the Ultralyte and it's light as a feather, plus the "actual size" targeting box tells you exactly where you laser is striking the target. Awesome gun Speed-Dreams!

Yeah I know how this feels. Sometimes unreliable results. I finally got an LI to put that stuff to rest.

The red handle text denotes a VIP.

I think they took pity on him after his epic self-pwn4g3.

I guess VIP it is then.

Very Important Pawn. That's all you are now, Erick, a pawn in this big game we play.

    Dare I say you're expendable?
