    Default choosing laser jammer

HI everyone i'm new to this forum
I have search and read so many post on which radar detector to get. The bel rx65 or the passport x50 . I can't seem to choose one or the other becuase there's too many biased opinion between the two. I also want a laser jammer too. Either M-20 or ZR3 dont know which one to get either. THEN i saw on ebay the passport SRX and that made my change my mind. Isn't the passport SRX supose to be the best radar detector/laser jammer on the market?
    thanks

    any input would be appreciated
    thanks

Depends if you want a remote mount or dash mount. Generally on a normal car the performance of a dashmount is superior, due to better "sight". On a huge mother****ing truck like Roy's then it isn't an issue

In my opinion, what the SRX has over every thing else is integration of jamming and detection combined with a very small display and remote mounting.

I love my V1 but someone else mentioned recently that a windshield mount RD in a convertible with the top down is cause for worry about theft.

I'd like something like the SRX (or SR7) for my convertible for that reason. SR7 can also be combined with the ZR3. I'm not sure if the SRX and SR7 cover POP mode radar.
The downside to a remote mount is that if you have multiple cars, or take trips in other (rental?) cars, you can't move the RD with you.

Back to your question, if you pick between the rx65, the x50, or the V1 you'll have a fine RD. If you get the ZR3 or an updated Blinder, or wait on the Antilaser product or updated Lidatek you'll have a good jammer. Don't forget to add some Veil and Laser Shield's for your plates.

when I crusing around LA in a mustang convertable I just took it off the window if i was going anywhere, the Bel and Escort mounts are easy to detach.

If you make multiple trips each day with a couple stops, you quickly start leaving your RD in the glove box, rather than putting it back on the windshield each time. The next thing you know, you see the cop and realize your RD is still in the glove box because you've become complacent and lazy about using it each time.

The remote mount avoids this. 8)
