Default infinity FX 37 and LPP and V1

    Hi,

    Did anyone came across this:
When we accelerate the car, the LPP green LED will fade off and the V1 will alert laser, after you gain speed the green LED is OK and the V1 is not alerting anymore.

Changing the power source did not help.
What can cause those things ???

it can be your infinity cruise control interfering with your LPP

    You were right !
It is caused by the cruise control, does this mean you can't use V1 or LPP on this car ?
Now I understand why it sounded the 3 beeps alerts, caused by laser source that is not a LIDAR.

Add LI, Blinder and ZR3/4 to that list.

If you turn laser off on that V1, it will still be an excellent RD. But yeah, no jammer will work on that car unless you disable the LCC.

Someone needs to print up a bunch of "informational" pamphlets with regard to Infiniti LCC and detectors/jammers... then leave a pile of them at the local dealership.

    What we did is:
    1. Cancel laser on the V1.
    2. connect the blue (mute line) instead of the - buzzer line, this way the LPP will buzz only when there is a jamm alert (ground from the blue line and 5v from the + line) , we may add a toggle switch to slect the buzzer - line in order to have parking alerts when needed.

Even better would be to put a piece of black tape over the LCC sensor. Problem solved. V1 and jammers work properly, and you don't drive other V1 users nuts.

Would the LCC let you drive if you did that? It'd probably think you were up against a wall and not let you accelerate.

Oh yeah, you could be right. Coat the inner side of the black tape with Veil before applying it to the LCC sensor. Now it won't get any reflection back at all, so it'll think you're on the open road with no traffic whatsoever.
