As much as I'd love to go back to Houston (especially in a month other than July), 1500 miles is just too far for a weekend getaway (I'm no Alex Roy).
Is there a similar event being planned for the West Coast?

The only problem with CA is that jammers are illegal. A large group shooting laser guns tends to attract someone's attention.

i live in a near a place where theres a huge unused parking lot for a race track. go to google maps and type in "Santa Anita Race Track" and go to satellite imagery. all u gotta do is just pay a parking fee and u can sit around until dawn. $10 or so. theres also a overramp where u can probably test the rear jammers too. my friends and i used to drive around and drift in the parking lot.
edit: its a casino kind of race track, for horses. i made it sound like a car race track.
