    Default LI + V1 , Will it work ?

First off HUGE thanks to Cliff over at LI . Fantastic from start to finish. Cliff you are " THE BEST "
Just had the LI quad installed on my Sl55 along w/ Valentine hardwired into the RVM.
Jazz Audio in Long Island NY did an amazing job . (pictures to follow really soon )
Quick question , How do I know my set up is doing its job 100% ? It sure looks terrific but that won't impress most troopers enough not to write you a ticket .
    Thanks all in advance .

You'll have to find someone with a lidar gun(s) to test your jammer setup. Some of us here have them, chances are someone with a gun who lives near you can get in touch.

The V1 is easy to test, just go to a pharmacy or grocery store.

    1. Attach pictures and let us evaluate the installation.
    2. Have one of us shoot it with laser guns. Anything else is just speculation.

    Spoiler: show
Mustang GT Convertible, Bel STi-R Plus, V1 3.892 hardwired with X and K off, Laser Interceptor Quad.
9500ix confiscated by the woman and hardwired high in her car.

    Yes

The LI if properly installed on a car your size will pretty much JTG any LIDAR gun. Just post pics and we can tell you.

No kidding . I feel like the Valentine is gonna blow up anytime I drive near a bank . Thanks for your reply ....

I promise I will take some pics . Next few days in NY are going to be really rainy . I will get them up ASAP. Thanks for quick reply.

I did my homework in advance . Their really brilliant minds at work on this forum.
From what I've read , I had the front jammers installed on the 3rd grill slot and wide towards the lights. The back is text book install above the plate near tail lights. I know w/out pics its impossible to do a fair eval..

Turn off X, AFAIK there aren't any major departments that use X in NY. The staties use only KA and laser. When you turn off X you'll think the V1 is broken it is so quiet. Also I would advise turning POP off. With POP off pretty much every KA signal you get will be legit. With those setting the only falses you will get are K band door openers everytime you go by a Walgreens or CVS. I commute 120 miles daily, and only have one K band false, which I'm pretty sure is a speed sign on and overpass.

    Cheetah FTW.

I RARELY ever get a false on my V1, even in Dallas.

Might be able to turn off K as well depending if it's used in your area. There is a section here that shows locations and bands.

Yes, this forum has a very good group of techies.

Welcome to the V1 + LI club.
