Default This is gonna be tough...

I don't have the front plate on mine but it's identical to the pic. I don't want to cut the grill although I could. (I have a plasma cutter as well as MIG and TIG welders)

I may just get a non-V grille if it will fit and put heads in that. About the only place I see now is the area above the lower air intake.

Yea, lots of chrome and the worst color...

From first hand experience with that car, I'm telling you that putting it up in the grille is your only hope of reliable performance. Under the bumper will get you pwn3d.

    What is a "non-V" grille?

The "V" package includes the wire-mesh grill in the pic. The regular CTS's have a plastic grill with "slats". The V has a slightly different front end so I'm not sure if a "slat" grille would fit.

I have the tools to make openings in the mesh grille but welding burns the chrome so I'd have to either paint it or send it in to be re-chromed. I'm actually not a big fan of the chrome mesh look...

I tested a Cadillac XLR-V that had low mounted heads. Check this thread out:

The setup did quite well on the front. Pics of the install are on page 7. Still, I would go ahead and either cut the grille and mount high or get a new grille. Good luck with your setup.

Give me a break. I accidentally hit the s button instead of the d button.

    Too late, quoted you!

I won't be getting jammers for a while because I think I need to pay sales tax on the car before I get a tag...

You know I thought about that but I think I'll just leave it alone. I still have the neon and don't plan on getting rid of it.

It did get a little nervous when I started buying cadillacs!
