Default Looking for some advice on a LJ

Since Central FL are starting to use Laser now (how very unsporting of them) I will be needing a jammer in the near future. The problem is that I have a) a limited budget and b) A white Suburban with a ton of chrome on the front, so pretty much the worst kind of vehicle possible make stealthy!

Any way I could get decent projection with around $1,000 or am I going to have to save up and get a quad LI unit + veil?

Blinder M47 should be fine for you with all 4 heads on front. It is reasonably priced, PM Roy about getting a member discount or PM blinderguy and see what he can do for you. Where in central florida are you? I'm going to be just outside of Orlando for college starting in August. I'm planning on buying a couple laser guns this summer as well so I'll be able to do some testing probably around July. If there is anything you can do to save up I strongly recommend the LI Quad with 2 front 2 back but if your only looking for front protection, the M47 should do.

That ones going to be tough. You are going to need a LI quad for sure for front/rear protection. I would ask Cliff if 2 regular heads will be enough on the front.
Valentine One (3.858 Ice Cream Truck, 3.812 in Vette)
4 Head LI (On Vette) (7.11 CPU Regular heads front, HP Heads on the rear)
    9500ci (On Vette)

LI Quad (On Ice Cream Truck)

LI Dual (On SRX, 7.06 CPU)

ProLaser II, ProLaser III, Stalker LZ-1, LTI Marksman & Laser Atlanta "R" (looking for an Ultralyte LRB)

    2008 Corvette Z-51 Coupe

    Escort 9500 ix (Cadillac SRX)

LI has an "outlet" section now on their product page. It's an older version that doesn't do some of the euro LIDAR guns from what I can tell. It's less than $1000 also.

A Blinder M47 and any high class detector (V1, STi, 9500, 8500 X50) should be able to fit under that budget with some $$$$ left to burn.

Check the forumn for test results on cars/suv and learn from the setup and jammer tested. Doing this will really educate you on how much each jammer can protect your ride. From you homework, you pick the best one for your car. I personally think I know what your gonna get.

We need to do a test to find out which jammer will protect a big-ass SUV better, a dual LI or a Blinder M47.

Thanks for the responses, that's pretty much confirming what I was thinking with either the Blinder M47 or Dual LI. With veil application it should help. Now I just need to wait until after I get my V1 to save up for it lol.

    UCF, Valencia, or Full Sail?

As for testing, Orlando is CFL territory, though extra guns can't hurt
