Default Questions to be addressed between the Laserdefender and D2

First, both companies are offering online upgrades. How much will these upgrades cost? (Upgrades sound great but this is a great money sucking sales tactic)

Second, What would the wait time be for replacement parts?

Third, does D2 or laser defender offer the capability of having 2 seperate jamming heads, one for the front and one for the rear? (Most of us are curious about this)

Fourth, We know the test have been done on oncomming jamming, we have seen the proven videos, however what about jamming away from a target, has anyone from each of the 2 companies tried this themselves sense there is no video proof of this yet? (Just a curious question)

Fifth, If any of us want to purchase 2 jamming heads for the front and rear (If applicable) will Defender2 or Laser Defender offer a discount?

Final question, Defender2 offers a 2 year warranty, what does this warranty cover actualy cover? Does Laser Defender offer a warrenty and what does its warranty cover?

If any others have some specific questions please ask, maybe we can make some pre-choices on which product we will purchase

I don't know this is what worries me about their company! No one is talking about rear anti-laser protection either

    drive-smart:

    1) What good is GPS detection offered by DriveSmart in the US?

    2) Will the DriveSmart only *detect* laser or will it jam as well? What are some specifications/info we can get on this if it does jam?

I think i can somewhat help to answer that one...

    1) not all the functionality can be used... like you won't have all the traps listed, but for example, if you go along a few certain roads (ie. roadracing, to work, etc.) you can program in the photo radars, lasers, etc. and the GPS system will add them for you. I also think it can auto-add laser hits as well.

    2) with the Defender2 it jams. Supposed to be the best jammer available, but that remains to be seen. The Drive Smart main unit also has a laser detector, so it is basically like your radar detector as it is located on the dash or windscreen.

Why have the bulkier drive-smart if we wont have much use for the GPS system and adding laser hits when really all you want is to jam laser, who cares where it was last time  . Plus the $500+ price tag not including pulsemaster and jamming system might not quite be worth it IMO. :?
