    Default Counter-Measures for a Corvette

I've seen way too many LEOs around here lately, and its only a matter of time before I get another Lidar ticket. I've got radar covered with my 9500ix which has saved my ass on multiple occasions.

What would be the best choice for my '06 Vette? Not really worried about getting hit in the rear as I'm pretty vigilant about watching out for LEOs. I like what people are saying about LI, are there any systems to stay away from?

Here's a pic of the front:

I don't have a front plate (haven't got a ticket yet) so I'm pretty sure they will aim for the headlights.

Would far to the outside of the grill provide sufficient protection?

Laser Interceptor Dual or Blinder M27 will both have no problem saving you from front shot laser tickets

i've heard of very good results on the front with the LI, a lot of corvette users on here.

the rear, however, is another story.

You really don't have any other choices, I had a hell of a time on my C-5. SO far it has been effective. I have yet to do experimental shots at the car while braking. With the heads so low one must be careful.

Who's Z06 is that? I would be interested in how they mounted/drilled holes for the heads.

He was calling me, I have an 08 C6 with LI dual on the front na d dual LI HP's on the rear.

I've been shot more in the rear in the last few months than in the front!!

Regular LI's will protect the rear but they do give the LEO a very small window of opportunity. So small as to be in all intents non-existent.

Interesting. I wonder if that has become their normal MO, or if they just realised that Vettes are easier to get from the rear, so they're waiting for them to pass.
