watt output is for each laser jammer
I checked my m-20 using a ampmeter , in standby mode the system is using 70 milli amp , in firing mode , one head , the total is 105 ma .

I was surprised of the result , sure it would be much more.

On my system I de-activated the sound , just the led is plugged .

    Here are pics :

I'd like to see how the V8 "muscle" cars with massively huge engines on perform against the Evo, Skyline, NSX...
How about the 2006 Corvette Z06? It will smoke all those Jap cars.

Interesting, but not necessarily the final word since it could use storage capacitors to supply the extra juice.

same for diodes as it it for cars...its not how big it is but how you use and power it..so the mrs assures me anyway

You could have a 500w diode and a sh*t PSU driver and have a 50w diode and a awsome PSU and the 50w diode will kick a$$ over the 500w

Corvette Z06... the older ones weren't much good, the NEW one recently released (i think mid 05?) is a treat... aluminum body and all that.

I suppose it depends on types of roads you go on. I'm betting the Evo, STi would have no problem outrunning the Z06 on an Autocross, mountain road, or pretty much most things with corners like a tight track. Of course, not to mention any road that has bumps, dirt, wet, etc. But on a highway, it'd blow them away.

But if highway running is your thing, then the new Skyline GTR being released sometime in 2007 will be the thing to beat. V6, i think 3.2L, twin turbo. Going to be outputting in excess of 400-500HP, advanced AWD, etc. Come to think of it, if highway running is the focus, i'm pretty sure there are other muscle cars that are better... perhaps the Dodge Viper SRT10?

Agree , but I did not see any capacitor in the controller .

Stalker , what is a PSU , missing to my knowledge.

About the power , a laser diode is always firing very short burst (like 50 ns) , I can compare that to cycling the household voltage 60 hertz , it is a slope from 0 volts up to 120 volts , that is the principle behind rheostats (dimmer) .

As I said I am not an expert , just an amateur who wants to learn.

I would compare a jammer : someone(leo laser) who wants to listen his echo but someone (jammer) talks back immediately , it can be more efficient then shouting very loud ... like girls in a discotheque they can conversate in the loudest music but cannot pursue when a man talks ... not a perfect comparaison but still an image...
