Since jammers are illegal in the UK they are selling it as a parking sensor. Target lt400 is sold as a garage door opener!
I thought jammers and detectors were made legal in the UK recently though?
Everything is legal here right now and no one has ever been prosecuted for using jammers.
If the law changes then you need to show that the system is not for being used for jamming etc.
Mind you Xenon head lamps when turned on can help to diffuse laser and cut down laser range.
Using your system as a crude parking sensor is a very simple thing to do as well as opening a garage door,We announced this months and months ago with the Defender2 as being one of its standalone functions.
The really cool functionality comes from hooking it up to the Drivesmart GPS unit and we will announce soon the enhanced capabilities of the Defender2 when hooked upto the Drivesmart.
Thanks Rob, yeah I didnt think they wer using the defender bit in the UK as it got rejected by patent dept.. Maybee Laser Protector, I dont think that has been rejected yet...
Im not t sure about the mounting bracket...looks kinda flimsy and not very rugged... I am not having a stab here before i get my head chewed off...mearly an observation.
