    Default Mounting suggestions

alright im getting a ZR3 kit next week and I'd like to know the best place to mount them. im putting all 3 on front and i know im going to put the rear reciever in the middle in the gap there. i want them to be as unnoticible as possible, i was thinking maybe put em over the foglights or just under the headlights on the bumper, like Outruns. heres a pic of the front of my Navi

I'd say cut the grill next to the left & right headlight... Put them as close as possible to the headlight, for the 3rd I'd put it down in the middle between the two fogs. VEIL will be a must!

Of course continue on with the VEIL

Yellow might be best for the grill

If you cant cut the grill then I'd hold off on the ZR3 and wait for one of the new diode based jammers. Having those LED heads exposed is going to asthesically kill the looks of the Navi. Plus, it will be so incredibly odvious!

    I'd hold off!

well im getting it from my sisters b/f for a good price so i cant complain. and theres no way ill be able to afford the $500+ price tag for the AL or drive-smart, so i went ahead and got it. i was thinking of doing it like this> [img=http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/3333/veiledhl33zl.th.jpg]

but this is counting on the heads being able to fit in the fog lights

I wouldn't mount the jammer heads out in the open! They won't look that good, they will be out in the open and some little tird can just rip em' right off. Plus you will need some strong adhesive to mount them & there's a good chance it will damage your paint!

On my buddies truck who also has the zr3, I purchased a black grill for him off ebay and used a dremel tool to cut out two sections for the head's to fit through, looks very clean too!! That chrome grill you have should be replaced with a black one unless you can't live without it!!

yup id throw a black grill on but i cant find one on ebay. i dont even think people make ones for navis. there all chrome and billit. im just going to put em here http://img251.imageshack.us/my.php?i...eiledhl3cv.jpg and hope for the best. however, ill see what the dimensions are when they get here and see if i can cut out the grill and not make it noticible. cuz the whay the grill is, is that it has the vertical bars but then it has horizontle bars on the inside :? . dam navi's, why would they make a car thats hard to stealth out lol
