    Default Straight Forward

I dont know if there is anything straight forward coming out of this "Laser Jammer" thread.

But I will just ask the question and please keep the answer super short and no bashing.

    Information
2 cars that are looking for laser jammers both in MA.
1st car 2004 Acura RL(silver) no bashing! Looking also for radar detector!
2nd car Saab 9-5 Aero (black) with no chrome With new V1
Both have laser shield and will have veil when warms up

    Questions: (please keep it simple)
1.Which laser jammer for each car?

    2.What is coming out next?
...........2.1 If so when and expected price?

    3.Why not other option?

    1. If you need a jammer right now, go with the Blinder M20. It's proven techology and should serve you well, especially with Veil and the laser shield. If you do not need it right now, see 2.

    2. Don't know, but both Drive Smart and AntiLaser **should** be coming out with jammers very, very soon. DS has been more vocal but who knows...we're all waiting in the same boat.

2.1 Prices for those are in the $520-$540 range, and are more powerful laser-diode based single-head jammers. Blinder M20 is closer to $350 and uses dual LED heads which are less powerful but still effective.

    3. All your laser are belong to me. (I don't understand what you are asking...may have been a long day for me.)

You live in MA which means that the LTI Ultralyte, the hardest LIDAR gun to jam, is a big concern for you. I would wait for results on production AntiLaser and Drive Smart systems before buying.

1.the best one out there for the LTI as brick mentioned
    2.al6 or DS
2.1 like $530-550 bucks roughly, end of the month or feburary.
3.get a blinder if u want jammer now, still an option. (also as brick mentioned)

ps-if your rich and this kinda money is nothing to you, get blinders or lidatek hooked up now and when the al6 or ds comes out, move those to the rear and put the new jammer in the front.

During the testing i did with Roy, i found that the latest Blinder did very well against the new LTI.

next to a ProlaserIII, going against an LTI would be my second choice.

It also did pretty well against the Stalker.

The LA in "stealth mode" is a piece of cake to jam. in "normal mode" it is harder though. it was a pain to try and JTG. you can jam it, but you still need to slow down in a timely manner, because after a while it would eventually punch through, until i stuck a head under each headlight.

with all the guns, having a bare front plate made things harder, so the laser shield sounds like a good choice, as does the Veil.

Depending on how quick you want to do this, you can get a Blinder or Lidatek ( i believe they are about to come out with an update to the LA stealth issue, but i would double check if you decide on a Lidatek) now, or wait a few months till the dust settles and see how the AL and DS fair when they hit retail and have had some "user tests" done.

    Either way, good luck.
