Hey guys. So I was just surfing the web and I came across a website. They "recommended" to you to have your jammers installed. I came across the company and here are a few of the install pictures I found quite intriguing , to say the least.
Would this even come close to jamming the head lights? I can see CM being jammed but not the taillights.
This is a better install, but I definitely see PT on the headlights.
I thought below the grill was an ultimate fail? Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
Now since I joined back in September I have learned A LOT from you guys and it's more than appreciated. But after reading and learning I don't see these installs being very effective at all. The reason I came across this is because I will be purchasing LI's very soon from radarbusters and I need/want someone from my area to help me install them. My only dilemma is that I'm not that great with automobile electronics, therefore would need someone to assist me with electronically hooking up my LI's. From educating myself on here, and with the help of you guys I know once I get my jammers I'll get some solid advice on placement and ultimately mount them in the suggested areas. (I'll post a picture of my car, get advice from you dudes...etc) My problem is, if I can't find a friend who is good with automobile electronics, I feel like the custom car shops who sell jammers, radar detectors...etc will end up installing my jammers like the pictures above. The sad thing is, I know more about jammers and RD's than they do. I've gone in these shops for haha's to look around and they've tried to convince me that ZR4's were the best jammers on the market and it'd ONLY be $2,500 for the jammers and the install. My jaw dropped and I was so relieved I joined this forum, otherwise I wouldn't have known any better (like the majority of there customers). Anyhow, the dilemma I face is the lack of knowledge of car electronics, and the dilemma these so called "custom car shops" is the lack of there equipment and retarded pricing. I fear that if I go to one of these shops, they will ignore what I say about placement, do there own thing, and I'll have a ****ty install like the pictures above. Any advice will help.
