I know that the state police use laser across the state. My question is which local towns use them as well?
The only town I have so far observed to be using laser is Colt's Neck in Monmouth county.

Although not a "town, I've specifically encountered Laser in NJ on I-195 and on the Turnpike. In both instances my LI alerted to and blocked it prior to my being able to see the actual traps. My 9500ix (mounted high) alerted to neither because of the angle between the source and my vehicle.

I am on 195 all the time and it rare, still a lot of x band. Many local towns have it, but still rare, mostly Ka. I think it is easier just to use Ka and drive with it on if they want to.
As far as local towns, I have seen laser in Mount Olive, Randolph, Rockaway and Clinton. NJ is a tough environment overall as X, K, Ka and laser are all used. teh Nj State Police use X and laser, and they have a few new Ka units. Add in false X and K signals all over the place and you need to be on your toes.
if you know in spec mode the freq of the band it's easy to brush off.
The 287 corridor can be laser alley. Bernardsville runs laser, NJSP, montville and riverdale all in a short stretch.
