So correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand things, if a laser jammer is doing it's job well from a distance but then fails as it gets closer, it would this indicate that the countermeasure pulses are correct, but just not strong enough to be the dominant signal that the lidar seeing. Is that right, in general ?
In other words, what might be the causes for punch through as the car gets close?
Also, if a jammer does not recognize the pulse pattern from the Lidar, do they fall back to emitting a simple stream of 2mhz ( throwing an error code) , as opposed to doing nothing at all ?
