Default Engineers : quick way to test jammer on bench ?

What kind of pulse train do I make to test a jammer I just got ?
Is there any info on the types of pulse trains to expect from some common guns ?
Info such as # of pulses, and are they constant timing, or are there out of sequence pulse to make the gun unique, maybe?

I have an old laser mask. Not a fan boys jammer, I know, but something to play with.
( BTW, any tips on how to open the transponder ? I see no screws )

    Thanks

Friend , you wont find this info here .
Those who know wont talk about such precise details.

One thing I tried and it works : take a toy phone for children ,
the kind that plays a tone when the child push the button ,
take out the small speaker and replace it with a infrared led ( 900 to 940 nm )
On most buttons this led will pulse to the tone and alert on my Li .

Good luck and let us know if you try it .

I don't have anything to say in regards of this post except that the guys of lidar website has about as much info on each gun as you will find anywhere on this forum.

Also do all of your posts have engineer in them?

HahA, yes, I guess so. I'm in my 50's , and an engineer. I have to know how stuff works, and am not satisfied with being one of the sheeple.
I know some of you are more skilled than the 'clerks and cashiers' that typical Americans are
I do think that the protective censored nature of the tech posts here is counter productive, and I understand this is a forum revolving around selling magic.
Emphasis on selling. And only certain fan boy brands, I sense.
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

You wont find these specs on wikileaks. No, you'll find them on the websites of the manufacturers. They're not exactly top-secret.
Typical pulse width is 30-50 nsec. Pulse rates are about 100 Hz (fixed.) Wavelength on all I've seen is 904 nm. You can get LED's from digikey that can do all that.
That said, some people have triggered their jammers with TV remote controls.

Yes, and if you play around with the frequency you might even find out that your jammer alerts you for different guns.
It will not prove if your jammer works 100pct, because you're only testing the receiver part of the jammer this way. A lasergun or a lasergun like instrument will be needed to fully test the jammer.

    Nice, thanks.
And then maybe I'll describe in detail a method that laser guns can use to detect speed that you can't possibly jam without jam codes showing up clearly.
Would you like me to start that thread ?

Thanks to others for the basic info.
It's also extremely useful to look at the patents, for others who might care to experiment or learn.
