Most have a clause that excludes radar and Lidar detecting devices from coverage.

They won't pay for it. You may be able to purchase the additional coverage form them that covers aftermarket equipment, but then again, I don't know if you want to tell your insurance company that you're running laser jammers.
I prefer not to tell my insurance company about my CMs. It has taken a while to get my record clean so that the rates are lower, I would hate to divulge anything that identifies me as a habitual speeder.
Heh, a red modded Celica may be a give-away.....?

Over the years, we have had several "Insurance Claim" requests from LI "Parking Sensor" Users. Most were paid with only 1 being refused by GEICO. I myself had a claim after a deer strike which also was cheerfully paid by Progressive.

If you are able to obtain a invoice receipt from your supplier stating the item as laser parking assist systems instead of laser jammers you should be able to claim the items on your tax as an expense (depending on your trade) as well as register the parking sensor modification on your insurance therefore covering you for any damage to your jammers.
How exactly do you go about doing that?
I've been driving past the little creatures for 32 years now and never a problem till this one time.
