I have a white 1983 Grand Marquis. I've been thinking about getting a laser jammer for it however we've got issues mainly with how reflective it is. This thing is loaded with chrome, chrome bumper, grill, & headlight frames, and the headlights themselves are glass sealed beam, unlike plastic they're super reflective. Plus if you've seen these the license plate, as opposed to being centered is mounted on the left side of the bumper. My question is would even a Laser Interceptor be sufficient for this?
I'm not worried about heads leaking water or any of that, I never drive the car in the winter and almost never in the rain (unless I get caught in a thunderstrom in the summer). My obvious concern is the performance of the unit and how to possibly cover the hugely reflective frontal area if that is even possible. I've used various Blinders (M20 & 27) before but always on much less reflective and smaller vehicles and realize they'd never achieve any measure of performance on this car.
I wouldn't mind putting 4 heads up front even if leaving the rear uncovered (at least for now) simply because I realize that it might take that to protect such a large area.
