I have been considering laser jammers for a good while now, but I am confused by all the different opinions out there. I want the M27s, but I was told they are crap, even on a small black car, and I had to get LIs. I am now reading that 2 LIs are not enough, you need three heads on the front. Some people even say with three heads you need VEIL to complete the package. WTF?
Is this just a case of brand loyalty? I understand someone is going to post a GOL link, great. Those guys kick ass and can get PTs on anything, but it isn't indicative of the real world. A real LEO isn't going to know the vulnerabilities of one car's particular jamming system or what angle to shoot the car at to get a PT. I think the GOL tests are indispensable to the jamming community, but I wouldn't use them as an argument that one system doesn't work.
There are a lot of people running ZR4s who are really, really happy with the performance they are getting and don't even know a different product exists. So is a lot of the stuff I am reading just hobbyists who like 100% total protection to say they have it, or are 3 LI heads with VEIL really necessary in the real world?
One of the reasons I haven't bought jammers is because no one can seem to give me a straight answer.
