What's keeping you from ordering from the UK? We suggested all our Dutch visitors to order the Bel 975 from the USA using credit card.

Dont you have the 966 over there?

BTW do you think an external mounted V1 is better or 975?

We don't have V1's here. There was someone selling them a few years ago and somebody else tested them. At that moment, the Bel 966, 975 were vastly superior to the V1.

I have no clue how the V1 would perform now.

We have the 966 here, but is very expenisve, about 800 dollars, while the 975, also remote model, costs about 400. There is a difference, but not worth so much to me. In detection range they are equal, the 966 just builds up the signal sooner.

If the 975 and 966 are so similar, why is the price double???

I still think that the remotes would do better than a V1 even if u mounted the V1 outside the car. And...its really difficult to mount it outside.

I"m so eager to get the AL6, and so is nvr2fast.

Becuase the Bel996 is the european version that is sold exclusively through Target Automotive which is a company in Netherlands that has a contract with Beltronics for the exclusive distribution rights of the Bel966 in Europe. While the Bel975 is sold directly by Beltronics Canada themselves for North America, the Bel966 is sold in europe with more intermediaries and its pricing policy is dictated by Target.
