Difference between Laser Jammers and Radar Jammers?

I currently use a radar detector and it has both radar and lasar detection on it. I was wondering if laser jammer's just do laser or do they do both laser and radar because from where I'm from radar is the most used tool and laser is only used on my way back and forth to college. Any answers to my question would be great. Thanks!

No. Laser jammers don't jam radar. Only laser otherwise we would call them a laser-radar jammer.

Plus jamming radar is highly illegal.

So would you recommend getting a lasar jammer? All the state troopers have laser out by my college and i do like to get back and forth faster. I drive a 2003 silver mustang. Which one would be best for it and where should i place it?
