Default LaserPro 904 "on" position and mounting angle?

hello... i have looked through the forum and the search function is taking a long time to load but here are my questions...

    1) in the installation manual, it says:

Note: If LaserPro™ 904 is left in the “on”
position, it will automatically power on and
    off with ignition.

i have the (+) wire connected to a fuse that is hot when the key is in the acc and on position but i always have to turn the system on myself even though i leave it in the "on" state when i turn the ignition off... how can i get that automatic power on?

    2) in the installation manual, it says:

    NOTE: Both of the front
transceivers must be level to the road. Use
the supplied spirit level to ensure each
transceiver is level to within +/- 5%. Align the
spirit level along the etched line which
appears at the side of each transceiver.

when it says 5%, does that actually mean 5 degrees?

    thanks...

The power has to go the the ignition fuse and it should power on everytime you start your car and shut off when you turn your car off.

Mount them level as possible other wise they will not work that well.

    Approximately yes (5% = 4.5 deg)

The 2 front heads will fire at the same time the rear if up front has to be hit by itself in order for it to fire..

    Default ok- lp-904

ok, so then if the aim is at front and front goes off and he doesnt get any reading, moves the gun to another location where its probably hitting 2 of the 3 heads on any given shot from over 500 feet.-as long as it get hit then it will go off-corresct, cause even though the display can only do one at a time the other laser will be going off if being hit by the laser is that right?
    thanx

In response to the auto-on...Does anyone else have the 904?

I also saw the auto-on mentioned in the manual, however it does not turn itself on with ignition. (It is wired correctly, power connected in parallel with my detector which always powers with ignition)
I figured it just doesn't have the feature. But maybe there is a way to enable it?

Because I have to manually turn it on, I find I do not turn it on unless I'm taking a long drive, which of course is a bad idea. I've considered programming a microcontroller to automatically press the on button a few seconds after power is sensed.

I have a 904 installed and I have the same issue.. car starts up then you have to turn the power on to the unit. However, when I had the guy installing it he asked me if I wanted it to automatically turn on when I turned the ignition on and I declined.

Hmmm. that leads me to believe there is some sort of undocumented programing option, perhaps via holding down buttons at power-up. Any ideas?
