Escort x50-zr3 owners

Was wondering how many of you that own both the x50 and the zr3 link them together and how many leave the zr3 and the x50 stand alone? I am trying to decide what I should do, right now they are both separate and when I get a laser each one alerts! Is there any benefit to having the zr3 plugged into the x50 or should I just leave it as is.

when i had my x50 i had em linked. i liked it. its all in what you prefer. i liked it on the x50 display when it would say "F Shifting" for the Front heads and "R shifting" for the rear. i really dont see any big plus in linking, except that it shows up on the x50.

Do you have all three jammer heads mounted up front?

When I used the ZR3, I ran them seperate.

that i do. i actually went through a trap last night along with K03 and jammed him right to the gun again .

There is no question, link them. Other than having only 1 alert for laser and only 1 display needing to be visible, you can get rid of the thick cigarette lighter plug/chord. The Zr3 mute button is sweet as it can be used to mute your X50, that is also out of site in my car, but easy to press.

I have my X50 mounted behind my rear view mirror of my 04 Infiniti I35, the the link cable is routed in the cable tray, there are no visible chords.
