Default Caught by PhotoLaser + LTI Marksman with jammer

Check this.... I got caught at night...

I have the Escort Shifter ZR3 with twin rear transceivers:

And i still got caught... i couldnt believe it... but i think its because i was changing lanes... so the jammer became less effective...

Check the pic below... The red squares are my jammers, still firing... the blue square is where they got a reading... I doubt the LTI Marksman was in Automatic mode... because this is the first ticket after 5 months i got ticketed...

Also its very strange that they got an exact reading of 120km/h at 91m (300ft)....

Looks like you were hit from only a few hundred feet (91 meters), that is tough to defend against

But think of the possible sweep effect if the laser hit your bumper (rear trunk) then hit the back of your window, that jump in distance "sweep" can change the numbers.

    BINGO!

To me, that "beam" Square, like the 3 beam LTI's are, is near the base of the rear window. That's ~ 3 feet (1m) from the back of the car and obviously not the same depth or distance as the rear plate of wing on the car.

I'd say you were swept to some degree..........

Math says every 4 feet is 2.7 MPH, but the question is where is the camera (which angle - side fo the road) and why's the blinker on. <<< E D I T Changing lanes I got it..... >>>>

Is 20 KPH really 12.4 MPH? YEs indeed; http://www.onlineconversion.com/speed_common.htm

My guess is your rear heads are recessed too far under the lip of the trunk (boot) lid, thus allowing this close proximity punch through.

IMHO the heads should be flush with the farthest outer surface of the vehicle. But that's obvious to the naked eye.

    AWESOME photo BTW

Not to mention the spolier possible causing the "sweep" effect.

    Thanx Suff Daddy...

Its a lil difficult to place heads on the rear of my vehicle... but have a look at the pics below...

    Side View:

    Top View:

I was told to make holes in my bumper...but i was not willing to do that... thats why i prefer above the plate... also the heads are clearly visible and not really hidden... but most ppl here is SA have no clue what they are...

I agree its the fact that i changed lanes that caused me to get caught... To answer the question about where the camera is... well it was on an overhead pass behind me... the LEO's here love to sit on bridges and target your rear... so the angle is pretty big... check pic

This scenario will be perfect for the GOL Test happening next weekend... very difficult for jammers to be effective... hoep they test it...

Well drilling holes in your bumber would not have helped, that would be even farther away from where the laser targeted your car. I think there are in a great position where they are, because you have the reverse effect of being targeted from the rear the lidar gun got the reading before the jammer could fire off a shot (up close) where as if targeted in front you are far away to begin with.
