LI in LS

Here's the front of my car. The slots for the grill are a little smaller than an inch and angled downwards at 5-10 degrees.


Here is a closer look from the inside:


Any suggestions for placement? I do not know if I can stick one of the LI heads into the the slots. The other possible placement is in the ground skirt / bumper, but I would have to move them far forward so they could see vertical. Any help is appreciated.

Its hard to tell if the slots are wide enough given their downward orientation. That being said the LIs are the easiest to mount in tight situations.

Next time I do this I'll add a ruler in I was totally blown away by the lovely S-series Mercedes install they did between the slats on the hood but those slats are wider.
