^ So this was with the ZR3 ? Or was this the ZR4 ? Or was this the LI ?

Sorry, I'm just a bit confused....

    Agreed.

If you can't see the cop shooting laser at a mere 500 feet from you then you deserve the speeding ticket.
You need to come out where I live...... Sub-500 ft. engagement distances, over-the-crest.

Also remember that a single head rear jammer is only going to basically protect against rear license plate shots which is were cops normally aim at. The rear taillights are just too far away from the rear jammer for it to be effective against rear taillights.
True, but as PMoth is fond of saying, what happens in a real-world scenario, where the enforcer may not have the most steady hands, or accidentally panned across to the tail-lights?

That's a "what-if" scenario that I do not think that anyone should have to bear.

My view of rear-jamming is very, very pragmatic - some would say pessimistic....

I say to either go all-out, and make sure that it's a full "JFG" no matter where you're hit, or just not worry about it at all.

To me, anything else only confers a sense of false-security.

Besides, rear laser shots are very rare compared to front laser shots.
This is currently highly physical-location based.

Here in Metro NE-Ohio, rear-on LIDAR shots are becoming more and more common.

My accelerated pace in seeking comprehensive rear coverage actually was prompted by a warning voiced on my local Subaru enthusiast Forum, where a fellow member passed by (without speeding) a rear-scenario trap, a local on-ramp.

Depending on where you live, rear-enforcement can either be more rare than aChinese girl with one green eye, or more common than toast.

Sorry for the confusion this was the zr3. It was not included in our tests due to participant not arriving in time. He is the one whose head were pointing into the sky these results were after we readjusted the heads.

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CLEAN YOUR HEADS!!!!! I keep a rag in my car to make sure my heads are always clean before each major road trip and at each fuel stop!!!!

Carter's heads were extremely dirty at the CT testing even which causes some high PTs until they were clean

If I didn't witness this myself, I wouldn't believe it. It's amazing what a thin layer of road filth can do!

You should have seen all of the jammer heads at SML. The extremely fine desert sand and dirt stuck like glue. Even though I carefully wiped using a moistened cloth, the stuff still caused very fine scratches to the jammer heads. The fine dirt at SML was like sharp glass.

Anyway, this last weekend's Atlanta Jammerfest taught me that I have my front jammer heads mounted too high. On top of that, obviously a metallic gold colored car is rather ideal at reflecting laser. Aside from lowering the mounting locations of my front jammer heads, I am going to get a black license plate frame which includes a clear plastic cover. I plan to paint the clear plastic cover flat black using some of that Krylon paint which bonds to plastic, and then install this homemade anti-laser device to the front license plate area on the front of my car.

You guys with way more experience than me, please look at the photo of front of my gold Hyundai showing where I presently have the jammer heads located and give me your thoughts. I am thinking about mounting the jammer heads two inches lower right atop my front bumper.
