That is one solution.... but an expensive one and I dont really need more power.... yet. I'd rather have a better suspension so I can use the power I have on the crappy roads around here.

I marked in yellow where it can NOT be mounted due to that area being a duct to the intercooler.

Any suggestions?

Honestly, break out the ruler - and mock-up an install (according to your proposals on the first page), using "the 18-inch-rule."

Unless someone here has a Speed3, and can help you out, first-hand, it's impossible to tell from any of the pictures, accurately.

Also, even after such an install, please know that placement remains "academic best-guess" until you've tested the setup, first-hand, versus a controlled and quantifiable police LIDAR setup.

I honestly think your best performance will happen with the yellow install in the original picture. Fog lights, head lights, and license plate are pretty well covered. You just have to watch out for roofline shots. I still think you'll be golden.

OK.

I installed this afternoon.

I basically picked the easiest spot to install, that was as far apart as I could get the heads, without fabricating a special bracket.

Anyway the pics:

How did you attach the heads?

Also, have an inside pic of where the switch/led is, I always like to see where people mount the switch.

I used the Cheetah wireless fitting kit, part of the reason I went with Blinder over LI.
I did a full write up at this link Blinder M25 Install - Mazdaspeed Forums
The write up doesnt show where I put the switch as I hadnt finalised where I wanted it.
It is a remote control switch and I finally I velcroed it on the flat surface under the handbrake, with the off switch closest to me. Easy to find.... hand moves from shifter back to hand brake easy to find, thumb drops straight down from there to the OFF switch.
I'll try and get a pic.

Good write up in the other post, and you have a nice pocket for the cheetah. Just as a side note if you wanted to, if that ash tray slides out easily, I would drill a small hole in the back get a hardwire kit for the cheetah and hardwire the cheetah kit from the back to make it super clean.
