    Default True or not?

This weekend I went to a motersports show and saw Escort demoing thier products. It was a really cool setup. They had a Stalker LIDAR gun on hand, and shot a car with the ZR3 installed. While he was showing me the jamming abilites of the ZR3. I ask em about Laser Atlanta stealth mode. And if they were working on a fix. And he told me that the ZR3 will adapt to what ever pulse rate is coming at it. AND that it can learn different types of LIDAR guns by just being shot with it. Now, to me this sounds pretty unreal. What do you guys think? I am a ZR3 user and love the product, but it seems he was bending the truth to me.

Sounds like to me that he was trying to make a quick sale.

Check out the jammer tests. You will see the ZR3 does not detect or jam stealth mode. They guy was either ill informed, unaware, or just looking for the quick sale.

Must be that Escort marketing. Now hear this. I also asked em what he thought bout Blinder and suggested that they make a ZR3 with replaceable lenes. He told me that Blinder will start to hold water after a certain amount of time because of the replaceable lenes. Anyone wanna sound off on that one?

Pretty funny... I don't know as I haven't gotten my Blinder installed, but I am sure there are folks here that have had thier Blinder installed for a while that can share thier experiences. I haven't heard anyone report this yet if that helps.

He is right about the holding water part. My blinder M-10 is pretty much useless due to water inside of it causing falsing in the sunlight. I know it is an older model but it is less than 4 years old. I just expected better constuction.

But thats on a M10. Any reports of this happening on the Xtreme series (M20, M40)?

Also that Escort guy is FOS. I shot the Laser Atlanta in stealth mode directly at my jammer head on my ZR3, about 1 inch away direct shot. ZR3 did not alert at all, just stayed silent.

It is possible to do it.

Each gun sends out a number of pulses per second, if you have a good enough receiver you can count the pulses sent from the gun, make a record of it and get the lasers in the jammer to fire up and pulse according to those just recorded.

The theory is easy, executing it in a real life situation is something else.

Also, law enforcement have caught onto this, some guns fire a few pulses, wait then fire some more, then wait.......so your software has to be fairly adaptable.
