ZR4's Weak No More!

I am one of the few people in the world that own a set of the MEM-TEK modified ZR4's.

MEM-TEK was kind enough to come down today and make some modifications to the ZR4's on the Vette. In a quick testing after the mod's the front was JTG against the PL3 and TruSpeed. The Truspeed was able to get PT's on the rear out to about 300' when the outside taillight was targeted and JFG on center mass targeting.

It's an incredible change in performance. I feel 100% certain the ZR4's will protect me should the need arise.

MEM-TEK a special thank you for making the trip down and for spending the enormous about of time I certain it took to come up with these modifications. I am looking forward to our next Jammerfest so we will have documented results on how well these perform.

MEM-TEK what is it that you did to make them more powerful? Is it the heads or the control module that you tweaked?
Can you do the same mod to ZR3's?

MEM-TEK would have to answer that. He did mine and one other set so he will have some other units out there to do some testing with.

All I can say is the difference is incredible!

For some reason I thought you had LI. Maybe thats overkill for your ride.

I have LI's and ZR4's. The ZR4's were part of the 9500ci. Before the ZR4 mods I just ran them in receive only mode.

I'm looking forward to doing some more testing to see how good the ZR4's now are. The initial test results from today were spectacular, but admittedly none of us are Rsatmans with a lidar gun.

Well at least you are not that far from FL where it seems a bunch of the RD forum guys reside. You could make a trip down there and do some testing (and fishing)

We have a test here in the Atlanta area scheduled in the next 30 days. We will have some results to compare from our last test session.
